Business trends show a third year of unrelenting cost pressures. IT budgets are flat. But executive management expects the business to pursue faster innovation, better risk management and more secure systems - while significantly reducing cost of service. Delivering bottom-line results in a tough economy with aggressive management expectations is now the norm for CIOs. Everybody wants more for less.

Join Gartner analysts, our CIO guests and an economist for a practical discussion on how to deal with the recession head-on, leaving you with the critical insight you can immediately apply to cut prudently and spend wisely. CIO panelists will share how they are dealing with the demands of the downturn and outline the steps they are taking right now to prepare for the upswing. And, our guest economist will provide the latest economic outlook and advise how this will impact IT spending. This is an important hour you can't afford to miss.

With so much to see and do at Symposium/ITxpo 2003, each day is like its own event.
