If you have not already done so, please confirm your hotel requirements for Symposium/ITxpo 2003 as soon as possible as there is limited availability in some hotels. HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY
All Gartner hotels in Florence are three nights minimum stay - 9, 10, 11 March 2003. The indicated rates, in Euro, are valid for the period of Symposium/ITxpo 2003 and are per room, per night, including continental breakfast, taxes and VAT. In the event of a cancellation of a hotel reservation after 9 February 2003, or a no show on the arrival date, your credit card will automatically be debited by the hotel for these three nights' accommodation.

COMPLIMENTARY ARRIVAL TRANSFERS
Arrival transfers are available from both Florence and Pisa Airports from 08.00 to 22.30 on Sunday 9 March 2003 and on Monday 10 March 2003 from 08.00 to 13.00. A deluxe motorcoach will leave every 45 minutes from Florence and Pisa Airports to the Fortezza da Basso - follow the "Gartner" signs at the airport to reach the departure point.
COMPLIMENTARY DEPARTURE TRANSFERS
Departure transfers will be organised on the afternoon of Wednesday 12 March 2003 to Florence and Pisa Airports. A deluxe motorcoach will leave each hour from the Fortezza da Basso. All airport return transfers must be pre-booked onsite at the Special Activities Desk in the Fortezza da Basso by 14.00 on Tuesday 11 March 2003.
FLIGHT RESERVATIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To obtain the special airfares negotiated by Gartner for Symposium/ITxpo 2003 the same airline must be used for travel to and from Florence. Cancellation after 7 February 2003 will incur a 100% charge. Name changes after 20 February 2003 will be considered a cancellation and new booking. Please check full terms and conditions at time of booking.

FLORENCE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Florence International Airport is located approximately 20 minutes (10 kilometres) from Florence city centre. Private taxi service approximately EUR 15 one way.

Gartner will be offering a three-day companion programme in Florence at a cost of EUR 150 including tax. This package will include breakfast at your chosen hotel and lunch at the Fortezza Da Basso Monday to Wednesday. Please book upon arrival in Florence at the Registration Desk in the Fortezza da Basso. A Special Activities Desk will be available to help you arrange a variety of activities; an additional cost may be applicable.
