Gartner Consultants Host Diagnostic Workshops

In these free, private workshops, Gartner consultants meet with Symposium/ITxpo attendees in one-on-one sessions tailored their needs. According to Chris Dials, a senior manager in Gartner consulting, "The workshops are specifically geared toward senior-level executives."
In the Gartner Custom Diagnostic Workshops at San Diego, Gartner Consultants Denise Underwood, Bill Bain, John McDorman and Jamie McCleary work with workshop participants and examine key issues and opportunities, provide insight on Gartner best practices, and jointly develop a planfor their organizations.

During these two-hour workshops, Gartner consultants, "give personal feedback and high-level perspective on your most pressing issues and challenges," Dials says. "Each workshop participant gets a custom report, printed out on site at the workshop, that addresses all issues discussed in the session."
When you register for a Custom Diagnostic Workshop, a Gartner consultant will contact you beforehand to discuss problems that you face. In addition, two weeks after Symposium, your Gartner consultant will contact you to check on your progress. During your free Workshop session, participants can:

Obtain a valuable action plan specifically drawn up for you and your team
Schedule a follow-up consultation a few weeks after the workshop
Dials says that when participants in the Gartner Custom Diagnostic Workshops were asked what gave them the most value, one workshop attendee brought up "the ability to have my organization's specific issues addressed by a knowledgeable consultant."
