He is responsible for all for all of the company’s assets in the 53 countries where Microsoft operates in EMEA, overseeing the operational alignment of employees, business groups and individual marketplaces.

Rod is an IBM Fellow & Vice President of Internet Emerging Technology, Software Group, at IBM Corporation. Rod’s current responsibilities include Web Services, XML, next generation rich user collaboration technology and wireless applications. Additionally, Rod advises on investment and partnering opportunities and is the lead negotiator and technical strategist in negotiations with numerous companies in the technology arena. Over the course of the last three years, Rod has led the effort to drive the concept of Web services throughout the industry and across IBM.

Kasper Rorsted is responsible for driving the revenue and profitability of HP's enterprise products and solutions, and penetration of the Services, Personal Systems, and Printing and Imaging business in HP's top corporate and enterprise accounts in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He is overall region managing director with additional responsibility for Enterprise Systems Group (ESG) in the EMEA region. Prior to the merger with HP, Rorsted was Vice President and General Manager of Compaq EMEA, which included 95 countries and comprised approximately 40 percent of Compaq's worldwide revenue.
