Companion Programmes allow your travelling companion access to tours and special events throughout Symposium/ITxpo 2003.
Gartner is offering the following Companion Package for 2003:
- Symposium/ITxpo 2003 Launch Reception attendance
- Symposium/ITxpo 2003 Cocktail Receptions attendance
- Attendance at the Special Event
- Lunch each day, Tuesday to Friday

The fee for the Companion Programme is €250 plus tax and this is payable onsite when registering.
A special companion ticket will be available for the Special Event on Thursday 6 November 2003. It will be available for purchase onsite, the fee is €100 including tax.

NB: The Companion Programme and special event ticket are only bookable onsite at the Registration Desk at the Palais des Festivals.

Nice International Airport is located approximately 40 minutes from Cannes.
- Complimentary transfers are available outside Baggage Claim from 08.00 to 22.30 on Monday 3 November 2003 and on Tuesday 4 November 2003 from 08.00 to 13.00. A deluxe motorcoach will be leaving every 45 minutes from Nice Airport to most Gartner hotels and the Palais des Festivals.
- Private taxi services are approximately €75 one way.
- Helicopters
Helicopters operate between Cannes and Nice Airport, and during daylight hours between 1 and 7 November 2003.
Rates are EUR 70 one way and EUR 130 round trip plus taxes of EUR 15. These rates apply per person,
Rates include a shuttle between Cannes heliport and the Palais des Festivals.
- Additional car transfers
If you would rather not use coach or helicopter services, and you do not want to wait in line for a taxi, why not book a car transfer?
We offer an opportunity to share a car with other Gartner delegates who book, or you can book a private transfer for yourself or with your colleagues.
Either way, you will be met after baggage reclaim by one of our uniformed drivers holding a sign with your name, who will show you to your car.
If you are happy to share a car, the rate is EUR 60 one way or EUR 110 round trip per person.
If you wish to have a private transfer, the rate is EUR 140 per car one way and EUR 260 round trip. The cars will accommodate up to 3 people with baggage.
VIP transfers in Mercedes S Class limousines (3 people plus baggage) or in a stretch limousine (5 people plus baggage) are available at EUR 200 one way or EUR 375 round trip.

Gartner has negotiated discounted fares for flights to Nice, France. Savings of over 49% can be made on these flights. For group travel, if you have a number of people attending, but don’t have names yet, you can still book seats with Genesis Business Travel and get the discounted fare. Names are not needed until 10th October 2003.
If you decide to stay for the weekend before or after Symposium/ITxpo, you can still take advantage of the low fares. You do not have to travel on the main dates, but changes are subject to availability at the time of reservation. View flight guide.
